Incoming 3rd Party SIP Calls
Incoming 3rd Party SIP Calls
I'm curious, seeing Freephoneline is all VoIP via SIP... can other SIP callers call us directly (SIP-to-SIP) without hitting the PSTN first? For example, can VoIP users like Gizmo or Free World Dialup call us via 19005551234@voip.freephoneline.ca instead of dialing out to connect back in?
Re: Incoming 3rd Party SIP Calls
They cannot. FPL will reject the call. It's been discussed before. Use the search.
Re: Incoming 3rd Party SIP Calls
Thanks for letting me know.
Search works great for unique issues and common problems with common keywords, but keywords like SIP or OUTSIDE CALLING or 3RD PARTY yielded nothing that answered this question. Unfortunately, finding thsoe "magic key words" to search is often the tricky part and something that I didn't get lucky with this time.
