Bud Phone Website Moved to ?

Postby mapry2 » 05/23/2015

Hi Team

I have registered with Bud Phone and do have an active number with them. I have not logged in for a while and today when I tried to login I realized the website is moved to Fongo.

Unfortunately I can not login with my Buphone login id and pw. When I tried forgot password option it could not locate my id.

Any suggestion how to log in to my account ?

Thanks in advance

I have the same problem.

I am directed to the Fongo login page, not the old BudPhone page. But my login credentials are refused.

The number is still alive and it will receive calls. I really like my number and would like to keep it. Is there a way to get it functioning under Fongo or Freephoneline? Or is Budphone dead and I should just sign up for a Freephoneline account.

I have been trying to remember what was announced about Bud Phone, but I can't for the life of me.

I would have thought a Fongo Team member would have stepped in by now and updated this thread, but maybe they have not seen it.

Initially I would suggest sending in a support ticket (do your best to pick the correct category) - http://support.fongo.com/anonymous_requests/new
Then is all else fails and you really want to keep your number, this option should work, but it will cost you $5 http://support.fongo.com/entries/535548 ... ngo-Mobile I know it mentions FPL/Fongo, but I believe it works for all Fongo brands.

Thanks Jake. This might be a route to go too.

(But it will cost $25!!)

That is when you are porting your number from outside of the Fongo network. It would be basically the same idea as the second link I gave.. I believe because Bud is/was part of the Fongo family it will fall under this option although it only mentions Fongo FPL in that FAQ.

Would you mind keeping this thread updated? I am sure it will help others that might be wondering the same thing as you.

Dear Bud Customer,

Your account cannot be accessed online any longer.

To move your account from Bud to Freephoneline at no charge, please follow the instructions below:

1. Create a new Freephoneline account
2. You will be assigned a number to use.
3. Visit our FAQ: Change Number Request for further instruction to change your number:
http://support.fongo.com/entries/821404 ... ge-Request
4. In the request, specify the exact number you would like to change.

Note1: Please reference ticket#*****
Note2: There is no balance for world credits on the Bud account- so no credits will be transferred to the new account at Freephoneline
