$10/month cell service on Bell Mobility+FFL
I am officially confirming Canada's cheapest cell phone setup! Bell Mobility basic prepaid + $10 unlimited mobile browser add on + FFL + any Nokia Symbian^3 smart phone (Nokia has best VoIP support and is OS supported - iPhone/Android tests failed for day to day usage) = $10/month cell phone service

Re: $10/month cell service on Bell Mobility+FFL
If you can use a WM6.5 Smartphone clone from Hong Kong (such as the Dual SIM/GPS one I have that cost $150.00), and have it on a 7-11 Speakout pay-go plan (which seems to be cheaper than Bell by about 30%), along with the unlimited browsing package they also offer for $10.00 per month, could that be another (possibly cheaper) alternative?

Ok, I have been fighting with Bell trying to get unlimited browsing to work on something less crappy than a Nokia 2730, most notably my Nokia E71. Please explain how you did that?

Doesn't the "unlimited browsing" packages only allow mobiles phones from accessing the WAP internet, not the actual full featured internet? Have you tested it? How's the speed/lag? VoIP over 3G has a very limited track record so far...

Re: $10/month cell service on Bell Mobility+FFL
I used to use VoIP over EvDO with my Palm Treo 700p.
Worked great, that was while I was back in college 2 years ago, some of you may recall this?
I had the Telus unlimited student plan, tethered the palm to my netbook using 3rd party PalmOS5 software and a FPL softphone on my netbook, (Running Windows Server2003), and my Netbook served 2 other computers on my home network with internet access.
Still had crystal call quality (In the region of Kitchener-Waterloo).
Not a be all and end all of testing mind you, but it did service me well for many months.
