Trying to phone a buddy in Owen Sound... and I keep getting this message "Your account balance is insufficient to place your call to that destination"...not sure why. What can I do about it?

... is _NOT_ included in the FREE CALLING area of FPL. Therefore, it costs $0.02/min + $0.04/call connection fee to call this ratecentre.

Doesn't this mean this number is on the calling list?
Where are the calling lists?

Nope, I pulled that list of Owen Sound numbers to show detail. Plug them into the ratechecker, and they ALL come back as $0.02 ... Owen Sound does NOT appear on the official FPL list of free cities either.

It doesn't look as though FPL/Fibernetics has a ratecenter connected to that number, so it won't be free, sorry.

Get them to sign up with FPL, then it will be free

On the rate-look-up page, if you scroll down to CANADA, and select "SHOW ALL", it spits out a separate window that you can save and then IMPORT into a spreadsheet. No direct CSV output, but you can save the data from that page and manipulate it ...

Please note that the information there is NOT as up to DATE as the actual rate-look-up tool .... I do not know why, and it has been kicked around in another thread.
