Shaf77.
FPL (PC client) was working fine a little while ago (12:01 NF time)
SInce you are using an SP3102 I would guess that the problem may be that you have not full configured it.
Does the PC client work OK?

Yesterday was yesterday and today is yoday and your modem may have a new IP, you might be running a computer that is competing for ports, others may be using your networks and so forth. The problem could be that
you have NOT changed anything on your ATA. There are a wonderful lot of settings there to get right.

For now, you can power down your ATA, modem and router, power down other devices on your network. Wait 10 minutes and then power up the moden - once logged in - power up the router - once connected - power up the ATA. See if the ATA now works. If it does you can try turning on the other devices on the network.

Previous posts are all valid, and the network IP changes can happen, even if nothing changes on your network. DNS renews, and if one device happens to lose a connection, unless you have static IPs set up and configured correctly, it may be that simple.

For troubleshooting purposes, as dibs said, to eliminate network issues, fire up the softphone client and see if that registers and is able to place calls.

Other times, it may be upstream ISP issues -- some smaller companies or congested networks "shape" their traffic and standard VOIP traffic sometimes gets shoved. You can also blame NETFLIX and other streaming for bandwidth congestion and other issues that happen upstream of you. Most of the time this shouldn't be a problem, but it COULD be...

There was no downtime on our end - I just wanted to poke my head in with an official comment. I would suggest carrying on troubleshooting as many of our community members have already suggested here :)

Thanks for taking the time to comment, Steve.

Any chance that when you are back at the office, that you could perhaps look into the evening time registration failure issues that many of us are having? Specifically if there is a heavy server load which could be causing this?? IMHO, I suspect that maybe it is a scaleability issue and the heavy user load is causing the rego server to poop out. Again, just my non-technical opinion and observation.

Hi Hardy, i am currently looking into this (by asking the right people) they are going to look into it now that they have a better idea of the time frames when it seems to be happening.
