Fongo Support, Thank you again for all your help with the Winnipeg Pre-fixes and working to resolve all the issues in getting them to work. They work great now. :) Anyone else reading this, the hard working people at Fongo truly do provide excellent customer service and back the product they offer.

In follow up to Winnipeg, there is one I missed in my original email and I promise the last one (for quite a while) that for the Winnipeg Rate Centre is a new prefix only starting to be used and is unable to dial free from the app;

204-815-XXXX which is Winnipeg Rate Centre as per CNAC.CA (http://www.cnac.ca/data/COCodeStatus_NPA204.txt)

Thanks and have a great day,

Hi there,

I had opened a ticket yesterday and it should be resolved by now.

Have you tried calling it and you noticed a charge in your call logs?

I think it will be fixed permanently on Monday, however you should still call it now with no issues.

Please let me know.

Thanks,

What was the Calgary number? (just need the first 6 digits) Sometimes a new exchange is not updated quick enough, and it gets charged. If you let Fongo know the exchange you called, they can adjust that if it is indeed in the free calling area.

Is the charge a data charge? Calls made through the app will either require a wifi connection, or a data connection through your mobile company.

310-GLASS (310-4527).

?? more info, I think I'm wrong. I guess 310-xxxx are strict 7 digit numbers without area code, that are toll free? We have to dial 10 digits in Edmonton, that's a weird one.

I any case, I still can't seem to dial that one, whether I dial it with area code, or without

Unfortunately 310 numbers can't be called. You will have to try and find the 'normal' number for them.

Hi,
I just got a Koodo Calgary number 587--585-XXXX. This is a local number in Calgary dialing area, but Fongo/Freephoneline does not recognize as a free calling number. Would you please verify it?

Thanks.

That number is indeed on a Calgary listed exchange, http://www.fongo.com/calling/free/

Edit. I have been informed that this number should be added to the free calling list shortly. So try it tomorrow and see if the call goes through.

I used to be able to call these two numbers for free but now I see they are not. Can you please let me know why and whether or not they will become free?

Victoria - 778-406

Burnaby - 778-807

I haven't been in the forum for a while now as everything works so well with Fongo/Freephoneline and I haven't needed assistance until now.

Thank you.
