Hey guys,
I currently have the FreePhoneLine softphone application on my Windows 7 computer and I'm currently considering signing up with Dell Voice. The reason that I want to sign up with the "latter" (Dell Voice that is) is that I'm planning to get a new smartphone in the near future. Currently, my term with Fido ends in April 2013 and all I have is a "feature phone" with them (in this case, the LG Gossip). The main concern is that what is the limit on creating accounts for FPL and Dell Voice? If I were to sign up with Dell Voice using a different e-mail address, then further complicated issues may arise.
My only concern is that Fongo might have a system in place to prevent duplicate accounts from being created (regardless of different e-mail addresses used, but with the same registered user name). Here's what my plan is for signing up with Dell Voice as predicted:
1) Sign up for Dell Voice
2) Download softphone app for Dell Voice on the computer - for the interim.
3) Once contract with Fido ends, I will get a smartphone (presumably an Android-powered smartphone, iPhone or BlackBerry).
4) Download Dell Voice smartphone app once I acquire a smartphone.
Is it possible to use the Dell Voice app softphone at one time and then use the Dell Voice Smartphone app at another time? I'm not talking about using these two apps simultaneously, though. My only prediction is that if I were to get an iPhone and set up my Dell Voice account on my iPhone, I cannot use the Dell Voice softphone app. Is this true for creating an account through the Android (or BlackBerry based) smartphone app?
If the wording sounds confusing, I can further elaborate it.

We have no limit on accounts if you want to create one with Dell Voice in addition to your freephoneline account (many users do this actually!).
If you start by using the Dell Voice softphone and then switch to the Smartphone app you will not encounter any issues either.

Just remember that when you sign up an account to any one branding, thee is a limit of one account per email address on the individual brandings. Ex: Signed up to DV with the email ilovedellvoice@dellvoicerocks.ca, then i would need another email address to get a second DV account.

That's the answer that I'm looking for! I have at least three or four email addresses (one of them is already in use) that I have contend with on which Fongo-powered service suits me. Thanks for the response!
