Post by theking666 »

since Friday I can no longer make any call. I don't even hear the ring tone.
when i test the connection I get timeout expired.

I far as I know nothing as changed on my end.
How can I fix this?

PM Kris (Admin) or FPL Steve and give them your number, they'll check it out. I've also read in the forum that they''ll do some upgrades on the system next week.

This is most likely due to your firewall our router blocking the software from connecting with our servers - Try moving your PC to connect directly to the modem to eliminate your router as the suspect here, then try disabling any third party anti-virus you may have that could block it.

even when connected strait to the modem with my firewall off I get a connection timeout.
but I just tried it on my other computer and it works fine, even behind my router and firewall, strange.

go to windows firewall settings and see what's the setting for the softphone. if it's set to allow, then uninstall and reinstall the softphone.
