Codec supported through SIP ATA/IP phone

Hi,

First, thanks for provinding this free service to us.
Sorry if this question has already been asked in the past, but could you confirm which codecs are presently supported by your platform while using the PAP2T ATA or an IP Phone which supports all following codecs? (supposing the SIP config file has been acquired, also I'm especially wondering about FPL-to-FPL calls with IP phones on both ends)
- G.711u
- G.729a
- G.722

I'm asking the question because I've just seen one post mentionning G.729a (http://forum.freephoneline.ca/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24). In case you're only supporting this codec, do you think you'll be able to expand the list of supported codecs in a close future? G.722 under good network conditions gives an impressive call quality, using the same 64kbps as G.711 does. Unluckly, it is not supported on the PAP2T, only by specific IP phones (Gigaset for example).

Currently yes, our service works best and as far as I know only on G729a.

We have a select few customers that work on G711u-law but our RTP Packet size of 0.020 works best, again, with G729a.

We are looking into more codecs as the functionality of our Mac and Linux softphones become more complete.
