Post by flower_petals »

i was reading that a couple of people wrote about the same thing but they use it on vista 64 - i did the test and it said that the sound data transfer unable to send sound data - i forwarded the ports 13000 and 13001 so i'm not sure what else could be wrong. any suggestions :?:

I'm using it on Vista 32 here in the office and it works perfectly. What router/modem/ISP do you have? Lets troubleshoot to see what's going wrong.

Hm, if you've forwarded the appropriate UDP ports on your modem/router then it's unusual that things still aren't working.
Are you running Windows firewall or any firewall or any spyware/malware blocking programs or any AV software that monitors ports? Firewalls also need to have the ports forwarded, I know that if the ports aren't forwarded in windows firewall it will also fail

Definitely change to UDP - our program uses UDP ports to negotiate it's traffic flow. Let me know if you have any luck after that.
AVG wouldn't cause you problems - I use that one myself without hassle. Mcafee can be a pain though
