Call forwarding help!

I'm fairly certain call forwarding FROM a freephoneline to a mobile number is possible, but..
I was wondering if anyone knows if I'm able to forward an unanswered call (or to be more specific, my mobile service has something called 'Call Forwarding Variable' where calls will get forward based on how long your phone rings, you can choose from either 10, 20 or 30 seconds) from my mobile phone TO a freephoneline number. Therefore, people calling my mobile phone will be redirected to leave a voicemail on my freephoneline voicemail, making voicemail on my mobile phone unnecessary.
Any help is appreciated!

If the wireless provider allows it, then you should certainly be able to do that. You'll just need to add your freephoneline number into the forward system for your wireless phone.

I have done this successfully, from the last 3 months I have forward my cell calls if not answered within 15 sec ,then forward to my FPL line and enjoyed the voice mail / voice mail via email free of cost. Its fun and free.(I did it both on Rogers & Mobilicity network via Nokia Handset)

More specifically, this is a GSM feature that carriers support, but must be activated from a GSM phone that also supports it. The iPhone, for example, is spectacular in that it supports none of the GSM features except plain vanilla call forwarding.

Fear not, all GSM call management features can also be activated via special numbers, the idea being that GSM has to be accessible to any phone, smartphone or not.

Dial these numbers, press call, and voila.

Activate: *61*[Phone Number]#
Activate and set the forward delay: *61*[Phone Number]*11*[Time]# (Time *must* be 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30.)
Cancel & De-register: ##61#
Disable (keep number registered): #61#
Re-enable: *61#
Status request: *#61#

The "status" part will be displayed by the phone, so depending on how it's designed, the information may be useful, or not.
