Help!! Unable to configure FPL settings to DLINK ATA

I already own my own ATA ( DLINK 1120M). I purchased the $50.00 FPL configuration file so I can configure my ATA and I am not able to do the configurations. FPL gave me SIP configurations for my DLINK box which does not use SIP settings. I asked numerous times before paying the $50 fee if FPL had settings for a DLINK 1120M and I was told yes. I was also told configuring my ATA would be an easy task. Well it hasn't been , and I haven't been able to get any assistance when calling tech support. PLEASE HELP!!!

Have you called DLINK and asked for assistance?

We stress that we don't support any devices the agents aren't familiar with.

We will try and help with any Linksys device as well as minor other adjustments needed but full configuration walkthroughs should be advised through DLINK.

We're not talking about one of those low quality compatible equipments ... DLink equipment has one of the best comm equipment on the market, probably better than Linksys
If agents are not familiar with DLink ATA & routers, they should be trained to ... for customer service's sake ...

At current time we sell and provide support for the Linksys PAP2T-NA ATA. It's like phoning Sympatico and asking them to help you configure your modem from your old provider to work with their service - everyone there is capable of doing it but since you didn't buy it from them then it's outside their policy to provide much more than very basic support for it.
The forums here are a great place to come for support with other devices! Another member had actually answered this girl's post yesterday but he must have deleted his post because it's now gone this morning.

Oh! I understand very well.
But then let me suggest that you modify your web site and mention that this 50$ config file
is only good for Linksys PAP2T ATA AND that you do not support other ATAs

The config file contains info that is compatible with ALL ATA's that accept SIP settings.

Besides ring settings and dial string it's all necessary.
