Problems with new version

I have been consistently having problems ever since I opted to install the new version.

The app fails to get a connection with the server. Even so, I still receive a call (i.e. it rings) but it cannot establish a connection once I accept the call.

Connection to the server is intermittent, at best. Even after restarting the app, it still doesn't seem to work. After many restarts or after restarting the computer, it might work.

Is anyone else having these issues with the new version?
