Number Porting..PLEASE HELP!!!

Post by MissMel »

I called freephoneline customer service to inquire about porting my number over to freephoneline. I was advised that I would have to pay $19.99; which I did with no complaints; I was also advised that I would have to fill out a request form and send it back to freephoneline with my signature. In turn they would then send it to my current provider to request the porting of my number. Freephoneline contacted my provider to port my number; as they said they would; but have NOT connected my number on their network. I asked many times if there would be any issues doing the porting of my number and I was promised there would no problems what so ever. Now the phone number I attempted to port is out of service and when I call free phone line customer service I'm told there is only 1 person who can complete the porting of my number and he has not been in the office. I've had that phone number for years and now everyone that has that number has no way of contacting me. I'm very very disappointed. I get important calls and now I'm very sure most everyone thinks I've changed my number and it's out of service.

Pass me your numbers via email... There was one person up until a few hours ago when I took over in his absence.

Same issue here. Kris, I just sent you a email with my porting number and freephoneline number. I've confirmed with Rogers that it's been transfered to you guys, please help me to hook it up asap.

Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response Kris. But I still getting the same 'Your account is not valid' message when I dial the ported number.

Really appreciate your help.
