pap2 shows offline

hi,

i was setting the pap2, the status it shows is offline. I would like to know, what possible mistakes could i be making ?

Line 1 config as per the instructions.

It shows the power light, internet light and no light on the Line1

Connection is directly from the modem. modem with 3 ports, 1 --> computer, 2nd --> pap2

DHCP enabled on pap2, the only other option i have is for static ip. Could i be making a mistake at this point.

It would be great, if any one can help me.

Line enable set to yes?
Unfortunately with the PAP2 directly in the modem you won't be able to access the configuration and see what error it's returning, which makes this tricky

line1 is enabled.

Modem had three outlets. I am connected to the internet from port1, port2-->pap2 show light for internet but registration status: offline

what could be the possible errors.

I have used pap2 for a few years. It runs very good once it starts.

Sometime, it will be difficult to start, just unplug the power line and connect again. Usually this solve the problem.

Try,configure in static,this is what it work for me.
