Post by stevew »

Hello everyone,

When i call somebody with Desktop Phone(softphone), everything on my computer side seems to be good except for the the people that i talk to. They says that their voice is full of echo! On my side i dont ear that much echo. What is the problem?

Can anybody help me fix it?

By the way, i have setup port forward on my router, firewall and Anti-vir for port: 13000, 13001, 5060, 5061, 6060 and 6061.

Thanks in advance.

Okay, thank. Are you using a microphone & speakers? Or a headset?

Okay, that is generally the issue. The microphone in the laptop is picking up the speakers and is creating a feedback loop, I would suggest purchasing a good pair of gaming headphones with a mic. It's what I use for everything and they work great.
