So today at 11 AM I called to follow up on the touch-tone issue. After being on hold for 8 minutes ("you're 2nd in line....you're 1st in line") I got the message "Our office is currently closed"
No problem, everybody wants time off for the holidays, but don't put people in the queue if the call center is closed.

Our call center was still open that day - did you try calling in again? We were down a few hands for the holidays, but there were still many employees working.

Of course I didn't call back - I was told that you were closed...Oh, shucks, nobody's perfect Let's just fix the touch-tones.
