Not so brilliant customer service - call center

So today at 11 AM I called to follow up on the touch-tone issue. After being on hold for 8 minutes ("you're 2nd in line....you're 1st in line") I got the message "Our office is currently closed"
No problem, everybody wants time off for the holidays, but don't put people in the queue if the call center is closed.
