Bank security verification - Fongo gives a Canadian number

Some Canadian banks insist that they will only text security messages to a Canadian phone number. So for most people this means very expensive roaming charges when you are not in Canada. However, if you put Fongo on your phone, and put your Fongo number as a secondary number on your bank account - before your leave Canada, using your regular Canadian carrier phone, , the Security (VISA, Mastercard) popup will allow you to choose the message to be sent to Fongo or your Canadian carrier. This saves a LOT of roaming charges - you do not need to keep your Canadian carrier phone number operating when outside Canada. Just remember the SMS and phone calls will come on Fongo, NOT on your regular phone SMS screen. Fongo should market this as " Don't Roam! Take Canada with you!"" Your worldwide CANADIAN internet phone that gives you a CANADIAN phone number where ever you are. Has saved me a lot of grief, and money, having Fongo.
