I have a Pixel 6 (android 12) and a Moto E (android 10). I noticed the fongo status icon stays white all the time. If it's not connected, a very hard to see i or ! show up in the middle, but you really have to look really closely to see it.

On my Samsung Tab A which runs android 11, the fongo status icon turns red and green when authenticating, and white when it's connected.

What gives? Is it specific to the tablet? is it android specific? All versions are up to date... 2022.2.3.13

I would really like to have the colours back so I can easily see when fongo is connected.

I just checked my Moto E 2020. You are right, it stays white. Checked my LG G7, and LG Velvet and it is coloured.

If I were to guess, the latest stock Android skins do not do colours, of which the Pixel and Moto phone use. The Tab uses Samsung's skin. And the LG phones have their own skin.

If you want to be experimental, see what happens when you install another launcher, like Nova Launcher. Not sure if that will fix the problem.
