[Resolved] Unable to call phone number

I was able to use any Fongo/freephoneline number to call my phone number (registered with Rogers)
After I port my phone number to Videotron, I couldn't use any Fongo/freephoneline number to call my phone number. The call terminate immediately with a message "Not found" and the freephoneline calllogs saying "Unallocated (unassigned) number".

Anyone having the similar not able to call problem after porting and how to fix it?

Note: I could use any other phone number from Bell, Telus, Rogers, Google Voice, etc to call my phone number (registered with Videotron now).

Keep in mind that when porting takes place, routing updates need to take place as well. Some carriers take awhile to fully update routes, and random issues (number is not in service; not all carriers can ring your number), can occur.

Porting notifications go to NPAC (Number Portability Administration Centre) and once activated, the porting changes get broadcasted to CLECs (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier, such as Fibernetics), or, at least, that's my understanding. The updates are supposed to happen automatically, but for whatever reason, Fibernetics' (parent company of Freephoneline and Fongo) interval for updates seems to be a bit slower than with some other service providers. I find these types of issues typically resolve within 24 to 48 hrs after you receive a notice that porting has been completed.

If the problem persists by Thursday, submit a ticket as a Fongo user: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
