Sending receiving SMS

I have searched all forums for the word "SMS" and I am surprised I have not found any.

If I wanted to give out my Dell Voice # for people to call, then they will expect to be able to SMS this number.

They will also want to SMS from this account so it shows up on the recipients phone as an SMS from my Dell Voice #.

Is there plans to add SMS support?

Unfortunately the search function on the forum is not that good, it seems to not find a lot of things.

At this point in time, Dell Voice is not supporting this feature all though it is certainly being considered for future updates.

Unfortunately the search function on the forum is not that good, it seems to not find a lot of things.

Not to digress, but: Jake, I've rebuilt the search index converting it to fulltext mysql from native fulltext. I noticed a significant increase in the number of indexed characters and posts so this could resolve some of the issues you've been experiencing with search (though I notice searching 'sms' still returns no results). I'll keep an eye it.
