Is the Dell partnership dead?

Post by TomGo »

I've noticed that Dell has been removed from the branding of the VoIP app - does this mean that it is no longer 'Dell Voice'?

In the end, all I care about is quality and reliability - who's name is on it doesn't matter - but I am curious. I also wonder whether I should now be signing in on the Fongo website rather then the Dell Voice website.

I asked the same question back in November http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?p=38046#p38046

They say it is still the same, but to me the removal of Dell says something.

The Dell relationship is still alive and well. If you'll notice when you log into the app there's still branding in various places and some Dell ads in rotation as well.

But, is this not because it takes ages before Fongo (et al) softwares are corrected? Just asking. :o

Yesterday, it was announced that DV is now Fongo! I thought that the relationship is still alive and well!

Then again, the announcement did not say that the relationship had soured. :P
