Questions about World Credits

Postby they_call_me_peppa » 09/13/2021

I bought $5 world credits a while ago, but never made any international calls. A few days ago I saw a charge of $5 (in addition to my usual monthly charge) so I assume it is the world credit auto top up. Does Fongo deduct anything from my world credit monthly even if I'm not making any international calls? Is there any way to view the detailed usage of the world credits?

Also according to the website I have the option to disable auto top up. However when I log in and go to the online store, I do not see this option. How do I stop the auto top up?

Thank you so much!

You've posted in the Fongo Home Phone forum.

Are you using Fongo Home Phone? Or are you using Fongo Mobile instead?

Fongo Mobile World Credits can expire. Fongo Home Phone World Credits do not.

https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/arti ... ld-Credits

"Fongo Mobile World Credits will never expire as long as you use the Fongo App to place a successful outbound Call at least once every Sixty (60) days. Unlike the threshold for auto deletion accounts that have purchased world credits are not subject to auto deletion. We do consider accounts with World Credits to be dormant if they have not been used in Ninety (90) days.

Any account that has a credit balance and is considered dormant will have their world credit balance expire at a rate of $1.00 in world credits every Thirty (30) days.

To prevent world credits from expiring on your account keep the account active by logging into the app and placing a successful call at least once every Sixty (60) days. This call must be answered by the other party to count. Forwarded calls through your number do not count as a call. If your account becomes dormant can reactivate it by logging into the app and placing a call."

For more information about your world credits, submit a ticket: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

However when I log in and go to the online store, I do not see this option. How do I stop the auto top up?

You should see "Auto-renew Status" after logging in at
https://account.fongo.com/redirectToPurchase.

If you don't, try another browser.

Thanks for the quick response!

I am using Fongo Home phone, so it should never expire? Is there a way to view the detailed usage on international calls?

As for the auto top up option, I tried Firefox as well as MS Edge, neither of them gives me the option. Please see the attachment.

Thanks again!

I don't understand your question, but you can check your call history here:

If you require more help, I suggest submitting a ticket.
