Hi Nil,

Can you please give us more information?

Are the callers receiving any notification of ringing or a message saying unavailable?

Is it ringing, but you aren't being notified?

ATA device or soft phone?

Are you still able to make outbound calls?

As with another thread, it could be that you have activated Do Not Disturb or Call Forwarding by accident. Or it could be that your device is loosing registration.
If you get incoming calls after a reboot, or just after you make outgoing calls, then it is probably loosing registration with the server. This is generally a router set up problem and you need to look into making sure all the right ports are forwarded.

If you never get incoming calls, check your online settings to make sure the rings before voicemail or forwarding are not set at 1 or zero. Some accounts in the past have somehow been set at zero, even though this isn't an option. Change it to something, then change it back to the setting you want it to be to make sure.

If that doesn't help, try dialling *79 wait for the dial tine again, then hangup. Then do the same for *73 and see if that helps.

Hi Nil,

to modify then umber of rings, you will need to log into your account online, go to voicemail settings, and set the number of rings before VM.

Hi nil1971,

At the moment, we can not see you registered to our service. If not registered, then rings set to 1 or 5 would not make a difference. If you ATA is plugged in, then you will want to verify the configuration in your device, reboot, and try again.

Hello
I found solution for this problem. I tried everything as technical support suggested but no use. Than after long digging found that adapter went on auto forwarding. Just press *94 and my problem was solved. I hope also have similar problem.

I have no incoming calls issue every day! When I unplug my Grandstream device, it starts working...but I never know if my home phone is working or not unless somebody calls my cell to tell me my home phone sucks. Maybe my firmware needs updating? It used to work without any issues in the first few months now, like I said, we have issue every single day.
Please let me know what I can do to fix it. Thank you.

Check that your configuration has been properly done with fixed IP for the Grandstream and all the required ports forwarded. Check to see if calls are OK. If they are not they try running STUN with a server such as stun.callwithus.com (my GS 286 is using STUN) and the ATA. Once you have set STUN, power off the router and ATA, wait 5 minutes and the power up the router and then the ATA and test again.

I have the same problem since yesterday. the out going calls are normal, but the incoming calls do not ring and only connect for 1 second then disconnect. the records of incoming calls listed from call logs.
my phone was normal, I just switch the ISP from bell DSL to Teksavvy Cable.
