Cannot listen to voicemails from phone set

I cannot listen to voicemails from my phone set.

I dialed *98 from my phone set and was forwarded to the automatic voice message telling me I had new voice messages, and I should press 1 to listen to them. However after I pressed 1, there was no action from the other side, instead that automatic voice message kept on playing....

I can however retrieve my voicemails using my PC through internet.

Anyone has encountered similar situation?

It will be your DTMF tones setting.

Are you using an ATA or the softphone? Either way, look in the settings and choose a different option and try again.

Thanks Jake. I'm using Vonage. Any idea how to change the setting for DTMF tones?

Fany, although Vonage may be the provider, they are nto a brand of phone. What kind of cell phone are you trying to use?
