Uniden Phones Always Showing VM Icon

Post by colesy »

I don't have any voicemail, and the dial tone is not broken as to indicate new voicemail, but for some reason my phones still seem to think there is a voicemail. I would think the phones would detect the broken dial tone to detect whether or not there is voicemail, but since the dial tone is normal I don't know why they would think there is. Does anyone have any ideas?

Just an update. I found a post on another site and it said to press and hold the Find button on the base station for 5 seconds or until the phones stop beeping. After that the indicator went away. Hope this helps others.

Uniden Phones are very low quality budget phones.

The make and model of a cordless phone is very important while choosing, as technology keeps getting better, my own experience, my suggestion though to everyone, is to look around for DECT 6.0 as they won't interfere with other wireless networks. Look around for earthier a Vteck, Sony or Panasonic.

HD audio by VTeck DECT 6.0 purchased this over the holidays and wow I'm very impressed as the HD audio quality improved my Fongo/freephoneline VOIP conversations by 100%. I purchased it at electronic store The Source.

Good Luck!
