Homephone voicemail down now for 24 hrs

Cant access voicemail. Pres. *98 and dont hear anything. Restarted ata last night and it did nothing. Phone light flashing on ATA

Do we know when this will be fixed

I just checked message on home phone and iphone it worked fine here

Spoke to tech support.very nice guy on the other end. He looked into my issue and after putting me on hold to investigate, advised me that this is a known issue that is affecting many home phone subscribers. He said it may take up to 72 hrs to fix and that an email would go to me when complete. There is nothing we can reconfigure to fix on our end and the issue has to be fixed on Fongo's end.

I have activated my voicemail to email copy service and that is working. Just *98 service is not working

I was having the same problem too and got it fixed, at least for me. I had changed the proxy server settings in my voip adapter a while back to the fongo proxy that I read about somewhere in the forums. I changed it back to voip.freephoneline.ca and the voice mail started working instantly.

Voicemail still down. Reset Ata and it did not help today. *98 not working now for 2 days

I am happy to say that after 3 days of voicemail not being available by pressing *98, it is now working as of this morning

Glad it's working again. Strange it took so long to fix, but then again we are in holiday season and we all know things seem to take longer to get done around this time of year.

*98 not working again as of 1:15pm EST for Fongo home phone service. When I press it just hear silence. Then after 25 seconds, a busy sound.

Did several tests in a row.

Will do more tests in an hour.

Sounds more like an incoming port is either blocked or filtered, have you tried this method :arrow: http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=7390#p40404
