Call Services Interruption - May 24 2012 [Update: May 29]

Post by FONGO_Announcements »

On May 24th, Fongo experienced a call services outage that affected a portion of our customers.

We understand the importance of reliable communications systems and we are working around the clock to resolve this issue. Service has now been restored for the majority of our affected customers and resolving this issue will continue to be our number one priority until all customer systems are fully operational.

Although Fongo is a free service, we are a serious company with a dedicated team. Thank you for using our service and providing us with feedback so we can improve.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Re: Call Services Interruption - Update: May 29 2012

Towards the end of last week and over the weekend we worked diligently with our partner to resolve network issues that affected incoming calls to Fongo. We did our best to keep the impact to end users as low as possible and during off-peak hours, however some impact was inevitable. We've put solutions in place and are monitoring the performance very closely to ensure the system remains stable. We are constantly striving to improve the Fongo experience for our users and apologize for any inconvience this has caused. Thank you for using Fongo and for sticking with us through these growing pains.

Thanks for the ONGOING update on this -- it is much appreciated to _SEE_ that it is being worked on rather than just seeing NOTHING. Please continue to keep us posted as to the disposition of this issue and whether it appears that it has been cleared up permanently by the measures implemented.
