Dell Voice Windows PC users - network configuration issue

Post by FONGO_mike »

We identified a network configuration issue that was preventing Dell Voice desktop users from properly connecting to the service. This issue has been resolved and the Windows PC version of Dell Voice should now be fully functional.

Well done!

"fully functional" might raise a few eyebrows. Is the dialpad/java issue a non-issue now?

Was the network authorization issue specifically with DV accounts as stated, or were other brands affected as well? I was not using my FPL due to frustration with other issues....

As others have posted, your announcement needs clarification -- "should be fully functional" needs to be specified to only resolving the network connectivity issues, as the software itself is still a tremendous pile of festering bugs .... :(

It was authentication issue. If there is a new issue, please open a new thread.

Let me rephrase and re-ask, seeing THAT part of my post was skipped over prior to being chastised for my closing comment.....

"Was the authentication issue limited to the DV-branded platform, or did it affect other-branded platforms as well?"

(closing comments withheld so as not to upset the forum police)
