Softphone upgrade?

Postby TheHardy » 03/12/2012

I have been accused of flogging a dead horse -- it has been over 6 weeks since I have made this request, so I hope it offends no one!

Is Fongo planning on releasing an updated version of the FPL (or I guess FONGO) branded softphone which addresses/fixes the incoming CID problem and other issues that have been identified in v3.0.3.0 ??

I do not really want to go thru the whole "sign up for a DellVoice account/port existing FPL # over to DV account" process _JUST_ to get working CID ... if the softphone is "skinnable" as it seems to suggest it is on the main Fibernetics site, then could the developers not just use the code from the working DV softphone and plug that into the FPL one and get a working/updated FPL/FONGO-branded softphone app?

Just curious ... this seems to have been overlooked thus far ...

Good to know ... and I am pretty sure that I know the answer to this, but: "Is there any timeline on a potential upgrade?" ;-)
