Solution to Forwarding to Non-Voicemail

Post by Deliverance »

There is an issue where a call forwarded to a number with no voicemail results in a User Not Available message.

Since we can chain Follow Me numbers if we could add our own number, then we could forward back to it and get back to voicemail!

So simple! There really should be a solution to allow Freephoneline to provide voice mail in ANY situation for SIP enabled users at least!

You'll want to lower the call forward time so the carrier's "not available" message doesn't pick up. As soon as the carrier picks up and plays a message then the call is seen as answered and the forward will stop.
