Have you tried your account with an ATA? It might work instantly.Jake wrote:They do block the Asterisk useragent, but that is easily got around.qingz wrote:I think the issue is only related to Asterisk. Not for software or ATA. I guess FPL is blocking Asterisk.
Anybody experience the same problem with ATA?
I had trouble with my Elastix PBX yesterday where one line was working perfectly, but the other would not accept incoming calls. I disabled the trunk and loaded the details into a sip phone and still had the problem.
From what I could see in my testing the account was 'stuck' server side somehow. On the stuck account I tried to change my useragent, but the update would not show online. The working account though changed instantly.
I did PM fongo_neil and it started to work 4 hours later. Although he did warn me that he was too busy to look into it, and in fact didn't It just started to work again on it's own. I still don't know what the problem is, but from what I saw I am pretty sure there was some problem with my account on their servers and did not have anything to do with my PBX. Now it could be that the PBX is somehow causing the server to jam up the account, but that is well beyond my basic knowledge.
Incoming Calls are down?

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
Both my lines are working here now. But as I mentioned, when it wasn't working right I loaded the account into a SIP Softphone (3CX) and it made no difference; all incoming calls were going straight to voicemail like a few others here. Fingers crossed it will behave for a while now.qingz wrote: Have you tried your account with an ATA? It might work instantly.
Re: Incoming Calls are down?
Yep, I got same, reload doesn't work, I have to restart asterisk to get back to 208.65.240.170; But, even that, incoming calls are direct go to VM...tbrummell wrote:Before reloading SIP:Calls not hitting my system, so time to reload SIP:Code: Select all
FPL/1613729XXXX 208.65.240.170 5060 OK (31 ms)
So, registered to a different server, but the calls are still not hitting my system. And the status page says all is well......SHOCKING!!!! LoLCode: Select all
FPL/1613729XXXX 208.65.240.165 5060 OK (29 ms)
I should start a poll and see who actually thought the status page would be accurate. HAHAHAHAHA
I'm going to Wireshark a call and see if they are even sending anything SIP related to me.....aside from a Register response.
Re: Incoming Calls are down?
I think FPL using proxy now.
I tried to set "Allow anonymouse inbound SIP call" to yes, or add something to [from-sip-external] , but these solve the proxy problem, the incoming call still went to VM from time to time(no connection send to my asterisk).
The strange thing is I set a forwarding number when line unavailable, it worked yesterday but not today!!

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
Yes, voip.freephoneline.ca now point to fplproxy.fongo.com, however, sip.fongo.com point to real sip server "sipnode3".hybj wrote:I think FPL using proxy now.

But, anyhow, it back to work now

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
Strange, I'm getting weird issues as well. An incoming call at around 9:20pm today got redirect to my VM. I tried calling out and got a message saying I couldn't. I waited about 5 minutes and tried calling out again, it works. Incoming works after that as well.
I hope FPL fixes these type of issues, I've been getting some strange disconnects lately especially long distance calling to US.

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
Same issue here... I don't receive incoming calls for the last 10 days. Initially, I thought my ATA problem. I have reconfigured it and still the same issue. Sometimes the phone rings and majority of time is not and goes straight to the VM.

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
I am experiencing the same problem with my FPL number that is registered with PBXES.org (the other number that is directly connected via ATA works great). The incoming calls go straight to voicemail even though the PBXES status is online, Linksys ATA says connected to PBXES and FPL portal says connected to PBX. In the FPL call logs I see the status as "Destination out of order". It's definitely an issue with those using PBX only as the ATA works fine when connected to the FPL server. I hope they get it fixed soon - sent an e-mail to the customer support not no response yet.

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
I'm also getting "Destination out of order" in my FPL call logs as well for the past couple of weeks now. No response from support using email. I hope they come out and tell us there is a problem and their working on it. Keeping us in the dark is pretty shitty place for a customer to be in.

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
Guys try looking into your ata and change the voip.freephoneline.ca to 208.65.240.170 or alternate .165
it seems there proxy is flipping constantly and this is part of the reason incoming calls dont work. I just did this now and volla incoming calls are working! will post back in a few days to let everyone know if this was a permanent fix.
In the meantime I encourage others to try. FPL is terrible at informing customers!

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
same here, no incoming calls....i m tired of changing things and starring at ATA and testing every now and then if it is working properly...
Re: Incoming Calls are down?
true, this is just 1/2 reason. I have modified my local DNS on DDWRT and point to only one IP, but still suffering go direct to VM, and even worse: no any logs/errors!jking2175 wrote:Guys try looking into your ata and change the voip.freephoneline.ca to 208.65.240.170 or alternate .165

Changing the proxy worked for me, as jking2175 wrote! Hopefully it stays that way...

It worked fine yesterday and today back to the same issue again. I can make outgoing calls but all incoming/inbound calls straight to the voice mail ...

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
Incoming doesn't work for me. Have opened an account with voip.ms and will use that until FPL gets their act together.
This is really, really disappointing. I had been using FPL for a couple of years without any issues, and now this massive failure of their system. Worst of all is that they've eliminated phone support, have no live chat support, and don't even seem to acknowledge that they are having a huge system failure that affects a very large number of users.
