incoming call not working

Post by aximrocks »

all incoming calls go directly to voice mail, the phone rings ok, but it's just dead air when picked up. call log shows "No user responding". also the outgoing calls take a long time (30+ sec) to connect.

Hi there,

Are you using an ATA?

Can you provide additional details about your setup- modem, router, ata, etc.

Thanks,

Hi there,

Please see below:
http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 864#p32918

I think you have to check your Linksys device and ensure it's configured exactly as per the link below:
http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=310

Please test after you revised the config and let me know the outcome.

reconfigured the PAP2 as per the above link. it's still not working. phone rings but the call goes directly to voicemail. log shows "No user responding". Please note the phone is working few days ago.

Hi there,

Perhaps DND (do not disturb) or CFWD (Call forwarding all) are enabled on your line?

Try dialling *73 then hang up (deactivate call forwarding), and than dial *79 and hang up again (deactivate Do Not Disturb)

Please try incoming calls once you have performed the steps above.

Thanks,

Having same issue. I have SPA-2102
I had "Follow me" on before and disabled that yesterday. Since no incoming call, it goes straight to voicemail.

I tried disabling DND, changing servers between voip.freephoneline.ca and voip2.freephoneline.ca (with rebooting of adapter after every setting applied).

ATA is behind DSL Modem ST516 (primus)

Hi,

You are not having same issue.. If someone is calling you from a FPL line, call goes to VM. If someone calls you from a Bell land line or a Cell, line will ring busy.

Please let me know if this is the symptom or not.

Thanks,

I have replied to your PM..

The ATA needs to be reconfigured- not too many fields.

Please do so and try incoming calls again.
