Hi there,
Like I said before, the servers that are handling FPL calls are operational.
I will let other users/moderators to comment further as I think you are not convinced of possible ATA/DNS issue at your end.
This number is mine and i use it when i am on a trip.
Actually it is not plugged into any ATA, so it is disconnected from FPL network and all calls should go directly to the voice mail.
Check by yourself by using a regular phone line or cellphone: 4xxxxxxxx

There does seem to be a bug (maybe) when the ATA is disconnected. It sounds like you are experiencing the same thing.
I will try to unplug everything when i'll be home.
I will see if it continues or no.
I have called many people with FPL with my Fido cellphone and always getting a busy tone.
If by resetting the ATA it doesn't correct the situation there is a problem somewhere.
Incoming calls from PSTN (Landlines and Mobile Phones) are not connecting at this time. Fongo to Fongo should be ok. This includes FreePhoneLine.ca accounts. - 2013-10-18 15:07
C'est normal, il y a un problème avec les appels entrants provenant d'une ligne terrestre ou d'un cellulaire.

I am confirming that there is an issue and incoming calls from PSTN are not working.
team is working to resolve this.
Thanks,
Hi all,
we are currently experiencing an outage affecting many of our services including incoming calls, online store, in-app purchases and registration due to a large Bell Network outage in the Toronto area. We're waiting for updates and will pass them along as we get more information, please check http://status.fongo.com/ for the most up to date status.
I believe the main Bell line that comes into the Toronto servers has been damaged and so it is effecting ALL incoming calls from outside the Fongo network. It won't matter where you are connected to as all calls from outside the network will come down this line at some point.
I don't think there is a lot Fongo can do except wait for Bell to fix things.

Hi Jake,
You are right. This is affecting all Fongo/FPL customers as well as new registrations/purchases. I hope that Bell support will fix this soon.
I m in Montreal quebec --since friday around noon I m having the same issues mentioned above.I hope that it will be fixed rather quickly .I was going nuts thinking that the problem was on my end .
