Copied Voicemail playback problem Blackberry 8800, 8520

I am attempting to use the "copy voicemail"/"forward to email" feature. Ideally I would like to open the forwarded voicemail on my Blackberry but the .au file is not being decoded properly ... I am unable to understand the message. My Blackberry 8800 has the latest 4.5 software and my 8520 is limited to 4.6 software by Rogers. Colleagues using Blackberry Bolds with version 5 software have no trouble. Has anyone else found a workaround for this. Messages play back fine on my PC.

Rogers limits Blackberry 8520's and 8800's to version 4.6 and 4.5 device software which do not support au audio files. Does FPL allows for other audio formats?
