3CXPhone for Windows 12.0.35528.0

Post by Cyber »

Hello,

Is there someone here who successfully configured 3CXPhone for Windows v12.0.35528.0 with Freephoneline?

Any help is welcome :)

Sadly 3CXPhone v12 is not compatible with VoIP providers like Fongo, Freephoneline.

You need 3CXPhone v6

407 Proxy Authentication Required - The request requires user authentication.

Double check to see if you got the login and password details correct

@bridonca,

I did enter 10 times my login starting by 1 and my password.

I saw in my config : [08.06.2014 22:43:54.225][16] 22:43:54.225 pjsua_core.c !.RX 571 bytes Response msg 401/REGISTER/cseq=35617 (rdata0A8B473C) from UDP 98.143.96.126:5060:SIP/2.0 401 Unauthorized

Maybe the user-agent name is not supported by Fongo?

I would try another SIP phone, to see troubleshoot if it is a 3CX issue, or a FPL issue.

I used 3CX a couple of years ago with FPL, and it worked then.

I have the v6 running fine, I have not tried with v12. I will play around with it and let you know how I get on.

I'm thinking it might just be for the v12 3cx PBX. I couldn't get it to connect to either my PBX here (non 3CX) nor FPL. I used the same settings as I do on my v6

I just found this, v11 and v12 were made to only connect to 3CX PBXs http://www.3cx.com/forums/v12-vs-v6-39356.html

@Jake,

Thanks for your test.

We can now confirm that 3CXPhone v12 is NOT WORKING with Fongo, Freephoneline.

3CXPhone v6 is working perfectly.

Hi there,

Do you have a voip unlock key purchased on your account?

If so, there are all kinds of apps you can find on Itunes.

Please visit Itunes and search for "voip" or "SIP" and you should get some good results.

Thanks,
