SIP Ports Issue

Post by SpinGhar »

Hello everyone,

I had been using FFL for sometime now, set it up on PAP2TNA and SPA122, both worked flawlessly, until I moved to Pakistan for work related travel.. The ISP (PTCL) blocks SIP ports (5060) apparently, as my Yak service is also not working, where Vonage is a go. And it works like a charm for an obvious reasons, it uses different ports.

My question is, are there any other ports I can use with FFL to by pass blocked SIP ports (5060 et.al.)?

My phone has been inactive from past 8 months now, and I am spending tons of money on calling back home (Canada). So any help in fixing this blocking issue will be a winner.

P.S. I tried PrivateInternetAccess as well, but of no use. They can't bypass the ports on VPN.

Hi there,

Please try to use voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060

reference from below:

Or you can try a VPN solution.

Hello Fongo Support,

Thanks very much for the reply. You're a hero.

I supposed the SIP server is Proxy option (under Cisco PAP2TNA ata), So I furnished the field with voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 and then under SIP Port, I removed the 5060 and threw 6060 there and voila. It started working.

Thanks very much! A happy day is today! I am home, away from home!
