[SOLVED]FreePhoneline- Long delay for outgoing calls

Post by cly1025 »

I am using obihai 100 and router is linksys ea4200 v2. everything was fine, but from this afternoon, not sure what's going on, nothing changed on my side, but when I tried outgoing calls, it took about 1 minute until the other side can receive my call (took 1 minute until I canl hear the ring tone for the otherside as well :( ). I've tried to reset the phone adapter also the router, but nothing worked. no problems for incoming calls. Please help , thanks

Service Providers >> ITSP Profile X >> General
STUNEnable: (unchecked)
STUNServer: (blank)

After making this change, please test incoming and outgoing calls and verify you have audio in both directions. Let me know if it works!

Hi,

Please provide your dial plan from the spa122 settings and I will have a look.

I am using Linksys SPA 2102 ATA

Local calls go through fine but long distance calls 1xxxxxxxxxx do not - eventually they go to the reorder (fast busy) tone - I tried calls to numbers in Haliburton, ON (1-705-448-xxxx) and Vancouver, BC (1-604-875-xxxx) - both these cities are listed as being served

Dial Plan is (911|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|1xxxxxxxxxx|011xxxxxxxxxxxx.|98*|[6-7]x*xxxxxxxxxxx.)

Your dial plan looks fine. Please try dialing 1-604-299-9000 and also 604-299-9000. Let us know what happens with each of those test numbers.

Thanks Mango. I did this and in each case all I got was silence. No fast busy this time, at least after a minute (I gave up waiting at 60 seconds)

Please verify that your device is configured exactly as per the official guide, plus the three settings I suggest in the post below the official guide: http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=16198

If that doesn't work, let us know what router you are using.
