Have Bell DSL (2 Wire modem) and Grandstream HT702. Have setup according to guides available.
Right now I can place and recieve calls but only have outgoing voice.
The incoming voice is missing. I tewsted with both cell phone and exiting landline.
It also does not matter if the call originates from HT702 or terminates at HT702, there is no incoming sound.
The phone works since I can hear dial tone and dtmf.
I believe I need the `force registration` fix I read about all over the forums.
I am sure all the ports are opened on the router.
Thanks in advance
No incoming voice with new unlock code

Re: No incoming voice with new unlock code
Just to be sure, you use this guide http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=16344 to configure your ATA, correct? If not, this is the one you should be using.
While you are waiting for Support to help you, please try to set your Primary SIP Server to voip3.freephoneline.ca and let us know if that works.
If that does not work, please also set Use Random RTP Port to No, then use your router to forward the UDP ports 5004-5013 to your ATA.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I will double check my settings against the guide...I did follow it.
Also will experiment with different sip server as well as the rtp suggestions.
Thanks again

Re: No incoming voice with new unlock code
OK so I tried the suggested fixes. I added the RTP ports to my router, disabled Random RTP and pointed at voip3.freephoneline.ca.
Once I did this everything was working and I had upstream and downstream voice.
I then pointed back at voip.freephoneline.ca and my incoming audio disappeared.
So I dont think I am supposed to use the voip3.freephoneline.ca server so now what?
I tried to submit a ticket but since I paid for the unlock code they dont provide support...at least I canot figure out how to submit a ticket.
This is clearly an issue with a config on the server side and has been pointed out by many other users in this forum.
Can anyone suggest what I should be doing next?
Thanks in advance.

Re: No incoming voice with new unlock code
Out of curiosity, did it work on voip3 without port forwarding? If so, leave the port forwarding disabled - it should only be used when things won't work any other way. Thanks for reporting back.
