Does anyone here have info on configuration for the Grandstream HT802? I'm not sure I have everything set up right.

Hi, I,ve configured my adapter (grandstream ht802) like it is shown in the pdf.

It worked fine until yesterday morning. I can't find what's wrong with the settings. Can someone shed some lights on this issue?

What's weird, is that sometime i'm able to call, other time i can't. I mean i have a tone and i am able to dial my number, it rings for a brief momentt than the line seems occupied. Samething happen to my voicemail. I can't have acces to it. And i'm not able to receive calls anymore. It happen suddenly in the morning. My wife told me that she wasn't able to call anymore.

I've attach a file showing my settings for my first line. it's done like the pdf.

Thank you

I would encourage you to use this guide instead, since it's more recent: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=18839#p74000. Obviously, ignore the firmware mentioned in the guide since it doesn't apply to your device.

There's an intermittent issue for incoming calls involving voip.freephoneline.ca at the moment: visit viewtopic.php?f=8&t=19793. For Primary SIP Server, switch to voip2.freephoneline.ca or voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060

Outbound calls should work, regardless of the server used, provided you have "Outgoing Call Without Registration" set to Yes. I know guides indicate that setting should be set to "no", but it doesn't have to be.
Incoming calls require registration. Outgoing calls don't. Note that only one registration per FPL account is allowed at any time. When there are multiple devices/softphones using the same account, only the most recent registration is valid. The previous device will lose registration and incoming calls will not work on it

Login at https://www.freephoneline.ca/showSipSettings to ensure SIP status indicates "connected" and that "SIP User Agent:" is a device you recognize.

Samething happen to my voicemail. I can't have acces to it.

Login at https://www.freephoneline.ca/voicemailSettings.
Change "rings before voicemail" to what you want. (I don't think this step is that important).
Click "update". (This is the important step.)
Test again.

There's currently an ongoing issue involving voicemail notifications: https://status.fongo.com/.
I recommend enabling "voicemail to email" at this time to ensure you, at least, receive an email notification: https://support.freephoneline.ca/hc/en- ... o-my-email.

For reference, the latest firmware for your device can be found here: http://firmware.grandstream.com/Release ... 0.17.5.zip.
http://www.grandstream.com/support/firmware
I will not be held responsible for failed firmware updates

Ensure that SIP REGISTER Contact Header Use is set to WAN Address.
SIP Registration Failure Wait Retry (the first one) needs to be 120 seconds.
SIP Options/Notify Keep Alive Interval should be changed to 20 seconds

Good luck!
