Can't access voice mail and change greeting

Hi,

I recently registered with Freephoneline. I set it up for use with my office phone via an ObiHai OBI 202 device.

When trying to record a custom greeting I dialed *98, as directed by the Freephoneline.ca FAQ, but all I get is a flat tone.

Also, I just received a call and I was not able to answer with my office phone, so I let it ring, but it never went to voice mail (even though the number of rings before going to voicemail is set to 4), so I tried to disconnect using both the Reject button on the popup and the End Call button in the Freephoneline app, neither worked and it is still ringing (I'm guessing I'll have to restart my computer so I can use my speaker again without hearing it). Any ideas on why it didn't go to voicemail?

I have received voicemail messages in the past while I was waiting for my OBI202 to arrive and I can listen to the recorded messages online.... don't know if this is still the case now given what just happened with the call* not going to voicemail.

*I don't know if this makes a difference, but I got a call from the same number earlier, which I (somewhat ironically) accidentally disconnected because I was typing when the Accept / Reject popup appeared and when I called the number I got a message saying it was a voicemail number.

Any help regarding the voicemail issues would be much appreciated. I will create another topic regarding the fact that incoming calls seem to not be going to my office phone.

Thanks in advance!

Solved the part about not being able to access the voicemail from my phone:

I had to log into my OBI202's configuration, go to the Star Code Profiles and change Code 28 (blind transfer) to *99, to free *98 for the voicemail.

And it turns out the continuous ringing doesn't mean the call doesn't go to voicemail, it's just that on my end, in some cases, the sound never stops until I close the app...

That's explained on page 32 of the PDF guide: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=18805#p73839.

Other methods of accessing FPL voicemail are found on page 42.
