If there is a known outage will there be a post made or automated message left on the support phone line? I've been having issues lately with my Linksys SPA-2102 not being able to register. It's been fine up until now and I didn't make any changes, everything else on my network if okay.
This isn't a post asking for help so I won't go into details, I just come on the forums to see if there is an issue but I never see anything. Then I spend about an hour or more going through config changes and making test calls with my cellphone then I eventually see someone else complaining then it resolves itself.
It would be nice to know without ripping my network apart that I can just sit back and wait.
Is something happening tonight for instance? I'm in Ottawa, when it does register successfully I get a dial tone, but when make a call it just hangs, no ringing. If I call in using my cellphone and pick up the voip line the cellphone will hear a fast busy signal when I answer the voip phone.
I can't call out, can't call in. Registration fails mostly tonight.

Re: Outage notifications
There's been no outages since the new server was installed at the beginning of October. If there are interruptions of any kind, big or small, we will always get a notification here on the board ASAP.
It seems like your issues are definitely unrelated. Do you have port forwarding setup? Tried a DMZ? Tried using a SIP softphone like X-Lite to rule out hardware misconfiguration of the ATA?
