Hi guys, I've been having an FPL issue for the last week. I suddenly couldn't make or take any calls. My SPA2102 was on the fritz and I just purchased the Grandmaster HT802. I upgraded the firmware and followed all the instructions provided in the other thread(s).
Unfortunately it still says NOT REGISTERED in the main menu and my SIP settings on FPL say DISCONNECTED.
(This was a persistent issue with the SPA as well over the past week on my freephone page).
I have an AC DLINK router and am not doing any DMZ or port forwarding. Could the issue be the UDP response time being greater than the ATA FPL time?
Any help is appreciated.

1. What specific model?
Disable SIP ALG in it: https://eu.dlink.com/uk/en/support/faq/ ... -my-router
2. What brand and model modem are you using?
3. If the problem persists, disconnect your router, and connect the ATA directly to the modem. If your ATA works, the issue involves your router.
4. Use these settings: http://forum.fongo.com/download/file.php?id=2051
5. Ensure you're entering your SIP Password and Username correctly from https://www.freephoneline.ca/showSipSettings
That is, ensure that you aren't accidentally copying and pasting extra blank spaces. It's better to manually type in the password.
6. If the problem persists when reconnecting your ATA to your router, ensure DHCP pool in your router has a few unassigned/free static LAN IPs. Then try assigning a static LAN IP to your ATA: https://eu.dlink.com/uk/en/support/faq/ ... ies-router
Really, the best way to see what's going on would be to capture a syslog, but I'm not sure what the method Grandstream recommends.
I did find this:
http://www.grandstream.com/support/faq/troubleshooting
"How do I enable Syslog feature on my unit?
If your unit has Syslog feature (generally under Advanced Settings page), you can use it for debugging any issues. There are two fields for Syslog:
Syslog Server: Enter the IP address of your Syslog Server. If you don't have one, you can enter a broadcast IP address (ex. 192.168.1.255) and then capture a trace on a PC on the same LAN.
Syslog Level: You can set it to different Levels. For debugging set it to DEBUG of course."
I'm not sure what they expect you to use on your PC. Maybe Kiwi. If you want to pursue capturing a syslog, try asking at https://forums.grandstream.com/ or https://helpdesk.grandstream.com/ for a recommended method.
