Freephoneline long distance rates page is directing us to the fongo long distance rates page. Is it free to call the United States?

I noticed that as well.
The answer to your question is no.
Calling the U.S. is free for Fongo Home Phone and Fongo Works Pro customers and not free for Freephoneline and Fongo Mobile customers.
Freephoneline customers need to enter the destination phone number under "Rate Lookup" and click "Find". There's also a 4 cent connection fee in addition to the rate price.
