If this situation hasn't changed (when not using push proxy, I'm guessing), using Zoiper on iOS can lead to an FPL registration or account block: https://community.zoiper.com/1327/zoipe ... tion-timer.
A registration interval of 60 seconds is not permitted with Freephoneline.

Visit viewtopic.php?f=8&t=20533. The required registration guidelines have existed forever, but enforcement of the 3600 second registration interval is new.

It's possible to change Registration Expiry Time, which should be 3600 seconds (Settings-->Accounts-->Your Account-->Network Settings) for FPL, in the Zoiper Android app.

Using less than a 3600 second registration interval can lead to either a registration block or an account block when using Freephoneline.

If you happen to hear an error message on outbound calls stating that your account is blocked, then also visit viewtopic.php?f=8&t=20537.

Sessiontalk appears to have an Expiry Period setting, which should be set to 3600 seconds when using Freephoneline: https://www.sessiontalk.co.uk/help-arti ... t-settings.

I've never used Sessiontalk before, so I'm just looking this up right now on their website.

This stuff is found under "SIP Settings".

UDP Keepalive should be enabled.

Keepalive Interval should be set to 20 seconds.

For what it's worth, I use Acrobits Groundwire on iOS.

Acrobits Groundwire doesn't require a subscription fee for push notifications using Freephoneline (by itself).

1. In the Groundwire app, Under "Account"
a) Username is FPL SIP Username.
b) Password is FPL SIP Password.
c) Use voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 for domain. voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 helps to circumvent potential SIP ALG issues in routers.

2. In the Groundwire app, navigate to advanced settings for your FPL account.
a) NAT Traversal should be set to Auto and keepalive period should be set to 20s
b) Set Proxy to voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 (proxy setting appears to override whatever is entered for domain by the way)
c) Set Expires to 3600 seconds
d) G.711u-law should be the highest enabled codec, and packet time should be 20ms. FPL only supports G.711u and G.729a.
e) "Outgoing calls need registration" needs to be enabled due to the 15 minute session timer that Freephoneline uses. If "Outgoing calls need registration" is disabled calls may drop after 15 minutes, particularly when using cellular data (the only way around not having the setting enabled is to place the call on hold and resume it before the 15 minute mark is reached).
f) Set a display name using your name, and don't use "anon".
g) Transport protocol is udp
h) Caller ID can be left blank
i) Called ID Method is "From Username"
j) Call Waiting should be enabled

There is no failed registration retry timer setting in Groundwire.
