Freephoneline on windows memory problem
Hi
i posted this earlier as well but it seems like the post went unnoticed by FPL team.
The problem is as soon as i start the phone software on my vista laptop, the memory usage by the application keeps on increasing untill i stop the video displayed in the ad window in the software.
so some time i get it to stop right away and the memory used by the app is near about 50K, after few seconds of the playback it goes to 100K and if i get late in stopping the video, the application consumes as much as 350K of RAM.
Seems like a memory leak in the APP.

I have turned this to our development team who will provide me with some details soon. I have also merged your two posts so we don't get overlapping conversations.

Re: FPL application hogging up memory
Yep, I saw the same problem with the new version of FPL softphone.
I also tested the softphone from Budphone.ca, it only burn 65K with ads on.
I believe, the ads image that FPL put on the softphone is too big to display. It would be a good idea to strain down the size of the ads. The video ads come with the installation is 888KB!
