I have been having problems as well at one point I could dial out but I couldn't receive calls. A little later the phone rang but when I answered I couldn't hear the other person. I had to call back on another phone line. This has been happening almost everytime I try to use the phone.

Seems to be working here for me right now - both incoming and outgoing.
Are you two still experiencing the problem?

Just tried testing again.
I am able to call from one FPL line to another and sound travels both ways. I'm using the FPL softphone on one computer and Twinkle softphone on a linux machine. Both computers are using the same connection to the internet. (i.e. both connected to the same switch which is connected to a router)
I then tried calling from a babyTEL voip line to a FPL line. On the FPL end I cound not hear any sound but on the BabyTEL end I could.

Just tested again and the FPL<->BabyTEL connection is working both ways now.

Tried a few more test. Sometimes calling form FPL to BabyTEL, sometimes calling BabyTEL to FPL. It seems that when calling FPL to BabyTEL, sounds is working both ways. But when calling BabyTEL to FPL, sound can be heard on the BabyTEL end but not on the FPL end. I get the same result when I substitute my the BabyTEL line for my Rogers mobile phone.

This seems more like a port forwarding issue. Check our FAQ for more info.
