How long does it take to verify number's portability ?
How long does it take to verify number's portability ?
I already have a request ticket open for porting my landline phone number over to freephoneline however after I filled out and submitted the LOA form (7 days ago) I have yet to hear back about number's portability and make the 25$ payment for porting. How long does it usually take to verify the number's portability ?

I want to port a number into FPL, where did you get the LOA form??
I can't find the phone number for customer support anymore, it seems to be e-mail only. I sent an e-mail yesterday and no one has yet replied.

here is the link to the form
--Link Removed--
Email is the only option. They removed the phone support option.
**EDIT - The form will be emailed to the person once the port has been started. The form is not intended for general use.

Not sure why would anyone wants to remove the link to the LOA form in my previous post....it is easily available from the freephoneline support website (http://support.freephoneline.ca/home) for anyone to download...just click "Keep your current phone number (porting)" and you will see the LOA form...this will speed things up instead of waiting for them to ask you to fill out the form.
Re: How long does it take to verify number's portability ?
Sorry that was my fault. Things must have changed as they always said that the form was only available when the porting process was started by calling in when people have asked for it before.hwliao wrote:hwliao wrote:here is the link to the form

Sorry for the confusion.

*BUMP* Mods is that still the correct address to contact for porting numbers or has it been changed?
