No incoming sound for phone conversation...

Post by tatuk »

Hi there!
No incoming sound at my phone. I have phone ringing, pick up the phone, start conversation, but I hear nothing.

I forwarded both SIP and RTP port ranges from my router to ata, I played with dial plan, I set everything that was recommended...
No luck.
They hear me, I don't hear them.

I used both CISCO SPA2102 and SPA112, same crap, no luck for incoming voices.
I tried to use my account with Android call app, I've got the same.

Funny thing is I borrowed account from my friend (he has working freephoneline key) and my phone started work OK...

Does that mean the problem resides at freephoneline side????

Please advice.

I have the same problem.
The problem began when I switched from DSL to cable internet (and began using a new router). Any thoughts?
I've also forwarded the ports (SIP 5060; RTP 10000).

I have the exact same problem. I have had this problem since the last upgrade in February and no sound on the phone calls. It is definately on the provisioning side. I have a second freephoneline account and it does not have any issues. I tried the same settings as described in the sip config file when logging into the account and also on the configuration settings email that was sent via email a couple of months ago. I even tried emailing support@fongo.com in March and no response. I tried several different configurations for the sip server. I tried voip.freephoneline.ca and also voip2.freephoneline.ca and even sip.fongo.com. When I use sip.fongo.com I am able to get incoming calls but not ougoing calls unless I am calling another freephoneline number. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated as I even tried using more than one ATA (Linksys PAP2T & Cisco SPA 122).

If anyone from Fongo can help and reset the provisioning to my phone line it would be greatly appreciated as I bought the PAP2T directly from freephoneline a few years ago.

Thank you.

1. Call from FPL to your number has no audio or one way audio
answer: not tested as I do not know anyone else that has the service with FPL
2. Call from Bell/cell phones to your number have no audio or one way audio
Answer: call from / to in my case Videotron/cell only has one way audio, I can ear on cell/videotron, not with phone connected to FPL
3. You have no stun servers defined in your HT502
answer: I have one will let you know later, i'm at work now.
4. SIP alg is disabled on your wireless router
answer: not sure will double check tonight

thanks
